I was raised in Washington state and lived there for most of my life. I received my Criminal Justice Associate degree in 2009 and paralegal assistant certification in 2010 and spent my early career working within the behavior health profession as a youth guidance specialist. As a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places. I was thrilled when we were assigned to Alaska. My family and I have lived in Fairbanks for 2 years. My daughter Gracie, and son Austin both are very active in sports and the community. I was the Family Readiness Group Leader for my husband’s unit for over 5 years. I volunteered my time to help military families during deployments. I helped families navigate military programs and coordinate events to support the soldiers and their families. I have been a member of The American Red Cross since 2013, actively volunteering to help others in need and earning my Dental Assistant Certification in 2014. I am a member of the American Dental Assistant Association, taking great pride in learning all I can to give the best care possible. I am a Red Cross certified First aid, CPR, and AED instructor. I train others to react effectively to emergencies. I enjoy giving others the knowledge and ability to save lives. I love working with my team at Alaska Braces! As your Treatment Coordinator, I will help guide you through your treatment. You will meet with Dr. Hobson and I for your initial consultation. We will navigate your treatment plan and answer any questions you may have. Welcome to your new orthodontic family!

As the Treatment Coordinator, I help you start your journey as a patient here at Alaska Braces, and I love helping people achieve the smiles of their dreams!

I was raised in North Georgia on a farm as a total country girl. I worked in veterinary for five years, and then went to college in Arkansas. After that, I moved to Oklahoma and ran a professional nanny service for two years. During that time, I received training through DONA as a birth doula and obtained my CLC title through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. I am deeply passionate about holistic treatments, natural birth, foster care and adoption.

In 2015, I spent Christmas at the North Pole. Two weeks after getting home to North Carolina, I moved to the Fairbanks area with my dog, Tedd. I started at Alaska Braces in the beginning of May. I am very excited to begin my career in orthodontics as well as get to know the community better.

I spend most of my time outdoors with my Golden Retriever. I embrace a hippie lifestyle in my dry cabin. I enjoy horseback riding, fishing, hunting, making music, cooking, and am an avid traveler. I look forward to getting to know our wonderful clientele here at Alaska Braces!

I was born and raised in Germany, where I met my husband while he was stationed there. After Germany, we lived in Tennessee, Texas and Georgia, before getting stationed in Alaska.

In 2016, I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Augusta Technical College in Georgia, and earned my Expanded Functions Dental Assisting Certification through the Dental Assisting National Board. I love Orthodontics, and joined the Alaska Braces Team shortly after arriving in Fairbanks, in February 2017.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Lamar, our son Cameron, and our dog Cookie.
